Did you know that the first “Made in Benin” tiles are manufactured right here at GDIZ?
Located within Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone, Afrikan Ceramics Solutions (ACS) is the first tile manufacturing plant in Benin.
The company locally processes Benin’s mineral resources, including clay, kaolin and granite, to manufacture ceramic tiles for walls and floors.
With a production capacity of 10,000 m² of tiles per day, the plant offers a range of finishes : matt, glossy and satin.
ELANO, a Made in Benin brand
Tiles manufactured by Afrikan Ceramics Solutions are marketed under ELANO brand and are currently available through several local distributors.
The brand also has its own ELANO Gallery, which was recently inaugurated. This new showroom showcases a premium range of tiles manufactured locally at GDIZ.
Beyond tile manufacturing, ACS is a concrete example of Benin’s ability to process and add value to its natural resources locally, transforming them into finished products that meet international quality standards.
