Since the launch of construction works at GDIZ in 2021, SIPI-BENIN S.A., in charge of the development, management, and promotion of the Zone, has also stood out for its strong social commitment.
Through its ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) Department, SIPI-BENIN S.A. organises two blood donation drives each year, in partnership with the National Blood Transfusion Agency (ANTS) and the Claudine Talon Foundation.
The first blood donation campaign of 2026 was held from 2 to 10 March across several GDIZ operational units, including Novarea, Benin Textile (Btex), Benin Textile Corporation (BTC), and garment manufacturing units. Employees of SIPI-BENIN S.A. also actively took part in the initiative. In total, nearly 700 units of blood were collected through this solidarity-driven effort.
This achievement reflects the commitment and solidarity of unit managers and employees alike. Special recognition goes to the teams at Benin Textile Corporation (BTC), whose mobilisation was particularly outstanding.
Each unit of blood collected will help save lives, demonstrating GDIZ’s commitment to supporting community well-being while placing people at the heart of its priorities.
