The international media outlet Jeune Afrique recently published a feature on Benin’s industrial strategy in the textile sector, with a particular focus on Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone (GDIZ). Entitled “Textile: How Benin Is Weaving Its Industrial Web”, the article highlights the country’s efforts to locally transform its cotton, from fiber to garments.
