Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone (GDIZ) is increasingly drawing the attention of educational institutions both nationally and internationally. As a major industrial hub, it offers young students valuable exposure to the world of work and industry.
In recent weeks, GDIZ had the privilege of welcoming students from Kuwait and the École Supérieure de Management (ESM Bénin).
A delegation of Kuwaiti students immersed in GDIZ
As part of a program initiated by Kuwaiti authorities in collaboration with Benin’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a group of twelve Kuwaiti students visited Benin from 21 to 25 January 2025.
On 23 January 2025, they explored GDIZ, discovering its modern infrastructure and various production units within the Zone.
This immersive experience sparked keen interest among the young visitors, who asked numerous questions regarding training opportunities in the industrial sector.
ESM-BENIN students discover GDIZ
On 16 January 2025, GDIZ also hosted a delegation of around one hundred students from the École Supérieure de Management (ESM-BENIN).
During their visit, the students explored the Zone’s facilities and learned about career opportunities within GDIZ. A highlight of the visit was their meeting with former ESM-BENIN students now working in the Zone.
GDIZ, a source of inspiration
These visits highlight the growing interest of educational institutions in GDIZ. By welcoming such delegations, GDIZ plays a key role in inspiring and preparing the next generation to tackle the challenges of Benin’s economic and industrial development.
