On 4 April, we welcomed in GDIZ Mr Michael Derus, the German Ambassador to Benin. He was invited to attend a complete presentation of the GDIZ, to observe its model and to take a guided tour of the different infrastructures of the Zone.
This visit was also an opportunity to discuss with Mr. Létondji Beheton, DG SIPI-Benin, and Mr. Laurent Gangbes, DG APIEx Benin, concerning the progress of the construction of the Zone and the next steps in its development.
“As ambassador and representative of the Federal Republic of Germany, I will contact German companies for investments, either in the machinery sector or in production,” Mr Derus told us at the end of his visit.
