Benin Cashew S.A., a company specialised in cashew nut processing, organised the inaugural edition of “Green Day”. The event featured the planting of 50 Terminalia superba saplings (also known as afara or Limba), a species recognised for its positive impact on reforestation and the restoration of degraded soils. The activities took place at two sites: at the cashew processing units within GDIZ and at the pelling center in Zè.
Through this initiative, Bénin Cashew S.A. reaffirms its commitment to combining industrial growth with environmental responsibility. “Green Day” is part of a long-term vision, with the ambition to establish it as a recurring event.
