As part of the partnership between ARISE Group and the Government of Kenya for the establishment of an Industrial Zone, an official Kenyan delegation undertook a strategic visit to Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone (GDIZ). Led by Mr Gagan Gupta, Founder & CEO of ARISE Group, this mission aimed to explore a successful industrial development model born from the collaboration between ARISE Group and the Government of Benin.
An immersive experience at GDIZ
During this visit, the Kenyan delegation, including Senator Mutahi Kagwe, Cabinet Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development of the Republic of Kenya, explored various infrastructures within GDIZ, an expanding industrial hub designed to process local resources and drive Benin’s industrialisation.
A highlight of the visit was the tour of Afrikan Ceramics Solutions (ACS), the first tile manufacturing plant in Benin, using locally sourced raw materials such as granite, kaolin, and clay. Impressed by the quality of the infrastructure and the dynamism of the project, Senator Mutahi Kagwe praised the progress of GDIZ : “Congratulations for the excellent work at GDIZ.”

Through this immersive experience, the Kenyan delegation gained valuable insight into the transformative impact of a well-structured Industrial Zone on economic growth and job creation. GDIZ stands as an inspiring model for Kenya’s future Industrial Zone, showcasing an integrated and sustainable approach to industrial development.
