This March 11, 2022, the GDIZ had the honour of receiving women from the African Women Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP) network and beneficiaries of the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs ( AWE) project for a special tour of the area.
Uche Ofodile, CEO, MTN Benin & Ismène Ahamide Zounmenou, CEO & President of AWEP Benin also participated in the Women’s talk on the theme of “Equality today for a more inclusive future”, moderated by Tawema Gwladys, Managing Director of Malaika Services.
The aim of the visit for our guests was to:
- discover the mechanisms that have enabled the construction of the zone
- understand the industrialization policy of the Beninese government
- discover the speed of execution of the works
- become the spokespersons of the GDIZ to Beninese and international investors
