GDIZ, at the heart of economic integration and talent development in the WAEMU
On November 21, 2025, Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone (GDIZ) hosted the Business Forum – African Talent Abroad (TAI), organised by the Network of Trade Promotion Organizations (ROPC).
This strategic event brought together economic players to accelerate professional mobility and the internationalisation of businesses within the WAEMU (West African Economic and Monetary Union) area.
Discussions highlighted the success of the TAI scheme, with 118 volunteer missions already completed, and its upcoming extension to new countries.
The event also provided an opportunity to present the TAI mechanism to investors in the Zone and to demonstrate how they can leverage it to support their international expansion within the WAEMU area.
As a major industrial hub, GDIZ is committed to driving the development of skilled human capital, which is essential for the sustainable growth of our sub-region.
Industry is the key. Talent is the driving force. GDIZ is the platform.
