GDIZ welcomes a Ghanaian Government delegation for the Second Time
Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone (GDIZ) had the honor of receiving, for the second time, a high-level delegation from the Government of Ghana, led by Hon. Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff Office of the President – Ghana.
Comprising several ministers as well as senior representatives from various enterprises, the delegation visited GDIZ to gain a deeper understanding of the development model implemented within the Zone. The mission aims to draw inspiration from Benin’s successful experience to establish, in Ghana, an industrial zone of similar scale, capable of creating value and generating significant employment.
This visit reflects the growing regional interest in GDIZ and highlights Benin’s position as a benchmark in industrialisation and local value addition.
Cohesion and workplace well-being : SIPI-BENIN S.A. launches a unifying program
GDIZ brings together a dynamic ecosystem of actors working daily to advance Benin’s industrial and economic development.
Recognising the essential role of human capital and the importance of synergy among its stakeholders, GDIZ places particular emphasis on strengthening cohesion and fostering well-being in the workplace.
In this regard, SIPI-BENIN S.A., the entity responsible for managing, developing, promoting and operating GDIZ, organised a “Cohesion Walk” on Friday, December 5, 2025, under the theme: “Together, let us grow our ambitions.”
This initiative seeks to promote team spirit, solidarity, conviviality and a healthy lifestyle within the professional community of the Zone.
The event brought together numerous participants, including SIPI-BENIN S.A. employees, staff from industrial units, and partners operating within the Zone.
The activity also marks the launch of a broader unifying programme, which includes a football tournament scheduled for Friday, December 12 & 19, 2025, with the grand final to be held on Friday, December 26, 2025.
SIPI-BENIN S.A. extends its sincere appreciation to all employees and partners for their active participation in this initiative, which stands as a true demonstration of unity and commitment within GDIZ.
