We were pleased to welcome the BCEAO Governor, Jean-Claude Kassi Brou, along with his cabinet on May 22. The Governor had the opportunity to discuss with Mr. Létondji Beheton, DG SIPI-Benin and Mr. Laurent Gangbes, DG APIEx BENIN who introduced him to the model of GDIZ prior to a guided tour of the various infrastructures of the Zone.
This meeting is part of the dynamics of creating a collective commitment of financing institutions around the GDIZ project and thus increase the competitiveness of ‘Made in Benin’ products, attract investments and encourage employment opportunities.
Jean-Claude Kassi Brou commended the authorities for the management of this project, congratulated the Zone’s leaders and teams for their work, and urged banks to be involved to encourage activities within the Zone.
