It is with great pride that we announce the official launch, on 16 April 2026, of SùSù, the very first “Made in Benin” home textile brand by Benin Textile S.A. (Btex).
SùSù represents far more than a new brand. It is the culmination of several months of work, coordination and commitment from Btex teams. From the processing of Benin’s cotton to the design of finished products, every stage has drawn upon strong expertise and unwavering dedication within Btex, with the valued support of colleagues across the entire Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone (GDIZ) ecosystem.
Entirely designed and manufactured locally, SùSù showcases our cotton and gives tangible expression to our ambition : to produce in Benin, for Beninese households and beyond, quality, durable and accessible products. The range includes bed sheets, towels and pillowcases, combining comfort, durability and industrial excellence.
Beyond the products themselves, SùSù symbolises the development of an integrated textile value chain, creating jobs and generating local added value. It marks a significant step forward for our industry and provides concrete evidence of the transformative potential driven by GDIZ.
We extend our sincere congratulations to all teams who contributed to the successful delivery of this strategic project.
SùSù products are now available from the authorised distributor Dixtri Textile in Cotonou (St. Michel Boulevard, opposite the Religious Sisters’ Bakery).
