A Turkish delegation visits GDIZ
On January 15, 2024, the ‘Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie du Bénin (CCI Benin)’ organised the Turkey-Benin economic, trade, and investment forum.
This served as a platform for discussion between Turkish and Beninese investors, aiming to strengthen economic and trade ties between the two countries. The forum was also an opportunity for Turkish participants to discover the numerous investment opportunities in Benin.
On January 16, 2024, the Turkish delegation attending the forum visited Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone (GDIZ), a key destination for investors looking to establish a presence in Africa. Impressed by the modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art logistics facilities offered by GDIZ, the visitors acknowledged Benin’s dynamism and vision for economic and industrial development.
Benin Journalists explore GDIZ
An initiative by the Communication Department of the Presidency of the Republic of Benin
As part of the initiative by the Communication Department of the Presidency of the Republic of Benin, journalists from community radios across the country visited GDIZ for the first time.
This visit allowed these media professionals to discover the installations and activities of the Zone. Discussions with Mr. Létondji BEHETON, General Manager of the Investment and Industry Promotion Company (SIPI-BENIN S.A.), and Mr. Laurent GANGBES, General Manager of the Investment and Export Promotion Agency (APIEx Benin), also allowed journalists to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Zone’s project and its economic and social impact.
This visit marks a significant step in strengthening the ties between GDIZ and local media, facilitating better communication about the initiatives of the Zone.
