SIPI BENIN S.A., GEDC, SODAPA and BGTS celebrate their employees
Société d’Investissement et de Promotion de l’Industrie (SIPI-BENIN S.A.), GDIZ Electricity Distribution Company (GEDC), Société de Développement et d’Agrégation des Productions Agricoles (SoDAPA) and Benin Gas Transportation and Solution (BGTS) celebrated their employees during May 2026 edition of the Alignment Capability and Excellence Awards (ACE Awards).
This recurring initiative, organised across the entities of ARISE Group, aims to recognise and reward employees who distinguish themselves through their commitment, performance and contribution to the development of their company.
This edition honoured 30 employees in recognition of the quality of their work and their dedication during the first quarter of 2026.
The event was also marked by the official presentation of the “Safety Excellence Award” to colleague Samuel Massede, Head of HSE Department at SIPI BENIN S.A. This distinction had previously been awarded to him during the Arise Infra Annual Awards FY 2025, an annual employee recognition initiative organised within ARISE Group.
Mr Létondji Beheton, Managing Director of SIPI BENIN S.A., congratulated the award recipients and thanked all employees for their daily efforts.
Mr Létondji Beheton also encouraged all teams to continue their efforts towards the development of GDIZ, an ambitious and pioneering project that is helping to create thousands of jobs for young people and contributing to the international standing of Benin.
Focus on Benin Textile S.A. (Btex)
Located within GDIZ, Benin Textile S.A. (Btex) is an integrated factory specialising in the processing of Beninese cotton.
The company has spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing departments to produce high-quality “Made in Benin” yarns, towels, bed sheets, and pillowcases.
