Safety Week 2026 : GDIZ strengthens its commitment to occupational health and safety
On the occasion of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, celebrated every 28 April, GDIZ organised a new edition of Safety Week from 27 to 30 April 2026, dedicated to raising awareness of occupational health and safety.
Highlights of Safety Week 2026
- Opening ceremony
- Presentation on the 2026 theme: “Healthy psychosocial working environment”
- Recognition of actors committed to safety within the Zone
- Signing of the Safety Commitment
- Awareness sessions in industrial units
- Awareness sessions focused on stress management and development of a prevention culture.
- Closing activities
- Handball match for women and a mini football tournament for men.
The actions carried out during the previous edition of Safety Week contributed to GDIZ’s occupational health and safety performance recorded in 2025:

- Zero fatalities and zero major incidents
